Big Problems with synchronising Logic with my EWS6

Hi Folks,
i've a really big problem with synchronising my EWS64 to Logig 3.5 (Platinum).
When i do some harddiscrecording i hear some incredibile crankling sounds from my EWS and i get the errormessage "Different Sampling rates detected". But when i use wav.files, that aren't recorded directly to Logic, i got no problems. But this way i not very musically-i never knew if the recorded take is good or not - i have first to edit the take in Soundforge, then open the Audio-Windows in Logic, open the file and hope that my take fits to the other audio or midi tracks. Can anybody give me the right latency settings for Logic Audio _EWS connection?

Hi,
I also got this problem with the EWS64.
Have a close look at the control panel if your EWS 64 is synchronized to an external clock via SPDIF. And check out the synchronisation settings in Logic, there?s a box that says something about sending MIDI clock to all MIDI ports. That solved my problem.
